Storyline Sample:

How We manage learning
my process

This course is designed for new employees, prioritizing a learner-centric layout and design. The main landing page is divided into three distinct tools, incorporating hover states to visually indicate the selected resource. After completing the resource section, the box transitions to a visited state, allowing learners to easily identify which tools they have already reviewed.

Given that the learners for this course are new to the material, it is essential to present information in small increments. Each key point is accompanied by a manual "Next" button, enabling learners to proceed at their own pace before continuing.

Some learners enrolled in this course were already acquainted with the tool. To respect the time of adult learners, I incorporated a branching slide that lets them bypass the basics.

If they are not familiar with the resource, I embedded a link to a separate microlearning course from our LMS. This basic training was previously developed, allowing me to save valuable time by linking to the existing resource rather than recreating it in a new course.

This approach ensures that the course is customized to deliver only the necessary content for each learner.

Minimizing frustration for learners in this course was a priority for me. As a new employee, it’s common to feel overwhelmed. To address this, I included multiple “lifelines” throughout the training, guiding learners on whom to contact for assistance. The buttons below include triggers that automatically initiate an email for the learner, streamlining the support process.
